Abstract

Abstract
The purpose of labor for this community is to process organic waste into compost and utilization of
inorganic waste into handicrafts such as purses, flowers and brooches economic value, as well as
bio-pore and also cultivation verticulture. The method used in this activity are: Lecture, discussion,
training, practice and mentoring. The result of the devotion of the compost from waste leaves of
cabbage, celery, duku leaves, leaf pineapple skin, ketapang leaves and rice straw. The foliage
compost from waste is used for the cultivation of the soil bio-pore verticulture and fill so that the
soil can store more water from the measurement results after one month, the average moisture
content in bio-pore containing compost amounted to 132.5 percent, while the average moisture
content on the ground outside biopore amounted to 21.26 percent. Handicrafts made of inorganic
waste / plastic during training is 5 pieces purse, 9 pieces flower stalks and 10 pieces brooches.
