Abstract
The research location is located in coal mining in Sebuku Subdistrict, North Nunukan District, North Kalimantan Province. Large coal potentials require technical design for coal development. The mining technical design is expected to meet a stripping ratio of less than 13: 1 with a coal production target of 15,000ton / month. Research methods include literature study, field research, data processing using minescape software and mining equipment selection. The geological coal model research yields estimated reserves of about 135.684ton, overburden 1.476.511bcm and SR averages 10: 1. Mining activity plan for 9 months. Stripping and overburden transport using PC400LCSE-7 backhoe and Nissan 320CWB dumptruck. Excavation and transport of coal using backhoe PC200-7SEF and dumptruck Nissan 320CWB. Benefits of research is the result of mining technical design can be used to reference mining activities according to production targets
