Abstract

Abstract The weakness of the Nation membrane as electrolte of PMFC associated with physial properties that is easy to shrink at temperatures above 80◦C due to dehydration. Shrinkage will decrease the conductivty and membrane demage. Nafion-SiO_2 composite membrane can improve membran stability. Thr rol of SiO_2 in the Nafion cluster is as water absorbent cause the membraneremains high. The result showed the content of 2,8% wt% of SiO_2 in the Nafion membrane, the conductivity of composite membran is highger then the pure Nafion membrane the are 0.127 S 〖cm〗^(-1) in dry condiision and 0.778 S 〖cm〗^(-1) in wet condition in room themperature. Comppared with pure Nafion membrane conductivity are 0.0661 S S 〖cm〗^(-1) and 0.448 S/cm
