Abstract
This study analyzes whether the wage structure impact of non-production workers will be closer to the tournaments model or fair wage effort model. This study uses the data of the Statistics Indonesia with the study object include paper and chemical, food, and textiles industries. The variables in this study include the wages structure, labor productivity and industrial growth during 2001-2011 . Regression analysis based on dynamic panel data with error correction model is used in this study. The results support the fair wage-effort models. The wage dispersion has a negative impact on fairness and cooperation among workers so that labor productivity fall. This decline followed by a decline in growth of paper and chemical, food, andtextilesindustries. Keywords: Wage structure, tournament models, fair wage effort model, productivity,industrial growth
