Abstract

Abstract: The granitoid plulonic rocks ere very common exposed in the Sumatera Island as batholits, stocks, and dykes. These plutons intrude the Pernrocarboneceous, Jurassic, Creloceous, and Terliary rock formations and they are nnufir, ttts'ctnd lhey are distributed along Ihe island from Aceh in the north until Lunpung region in the south. The granitoitls thal cut the Permocarbonaceous rock formations ere locoted in the eust of Semangko fault system, while the plutons thut cut the Jurassic, Cretaceous rock fonnations are distributed in the west of Semangko fuult system and lhe youngest plutous cut the Tertiary rock formations in lhe Semangko fault system exactly. According the nineralogical classificalion, lhe nanmes of gronitoids are diorite, gronodiorite, adamlite, granite, and trondhjemite. The tnineral and chemical composition of rocks come from lava that generates on subduction line showed by the negative anomalies in titan, zirconium, and niobium in the spider diagrams. The diversity of mineralogy, chemistry, and rock names are affected by evolution process' and it may be correlated with their ages.
