Abstract

ABSTRAK Bijih besi merupakan salah bahan galian yang diperlukan didalam kebutuhan sehari-hari manusia. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dilakukanlah suatu kegiatan eksplorasi untuk menemukan keberadaan dari bijih besi tersebut. Untuk penelitian kali ini digunakan metode geofisika yaitu metode geomagnetik dan time domain induced polarization (TDIP) yang dilakukan pada Lapangan ‘X’ Propinsi Aceh. Dimana pada Lapangan ‘X’ ditemukan kadar Fe sebesar 40% dengan tipe endapan berupa endapan skarn. Pada penelitian ini, main unit yang digunakan pada metode geomagnetik yaitu GYMSYS Overhauser Magnetometer (GSM-19) dan untuk time domain induced polarization (TDIP) menggunakan Syscal Pro Switch 48. Didalam penelitian ini terdapat 3447 titik pengukuran metode geomagnetik dan 38 lintasan TDIP. Dimana arah lintasan dari lintasan geomagnetik memiliki azimuth sebesar N 314oE. Sedangkan untuk TDIP, arah lintasan berdasarkan peta total magnetic intensity yang memiliki indikasi keberadaan bijih besi. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran dan pengolahan data lapangan pada metode geomagnetik didapat nilai intensitas kemagnetan 1500 nT - 2447.5 nT dan suseptibilitas sebesar 0.01 SI diinterpretasikan sebagai host rock dari bijih besi berupa granodiorit. Sedangankan untuk TDIP didapat nilai resistivity diatas 2000 ohm.m dan chargeability diatas 20 mV/V (IP Percent = 2%) diinterpretasikan sebagai daerah indikasi keberadaan bijih besi. Kata Kunci : Intensitas kemagnetan, suseptibilitas, TDIP dan bijih besi ABSTRACT Iron ore is one of the excavated materials necessary for the daily needs of human. Based on these, we conducted a exploration activity to discover the existence of iron ore. For this research used a geophysical methods that is a geomagnetic method and time domain induced polarization (TDIP) was conducted at ‘X’ Field Aceh Province. Where at the ‘X’ Field has found Fe level 40% with deposit type is a skarn deposit. In this research, main unit of geomagnetic method is GYMSY Overhauser (GSM-19) and for time domain induced polarization main unit using Syscal Pro Switch 48. In this research have a 3447 measurment point geomagnetic method and 38 line TDIP. The direction of line of geomagnetic method have a azimuth is N 314oE. Then for TDIP, the direction of line based on total magnetic intensity map who have iron ore indicated. Based on measurement result and processing field data, on geomagnetic method obtained magnetic intensity value between 1500 nT – 2447.5 nT and susceptibillty value is 0.01 SI who have interpretation as a host rock of iron ore form granodiorit. Than for TDIP obtained a resistivity value above 2000 ohm.m and chargeability above 20 mV/V (IP Percent = 2%) have a interpretation as indicated of iron ore.
