Abstract

xii DEGRADATION OF ENVIRONMETN IMPACT BY PUMICE MINNING STONE AT SUKOHARJO VILLAGE, PRAMBANAN SUB DISTRICT , SLEMAN DISTRICT, DIY PROVINCE ABSTRACT Minning activity will cause a kind of impact, which minning activity can useful for development and people prosperity, but also can caused an intrusion of environment function. From the set of problems, this research is aimed to know how the level of land ravage by populace pumice stone minning that caused of pumice breccias minning activity in Sambirejo Village. Data’s that used for this research are secunder data and primer data. Methode for this research are cover by maping methode, survey methode and scoring. While parameter are used for measure the level of land ravage is (1) side of limit entrenchment (2) deep of limits entrenchment (3) base of entrenchment relief (4) slope side of limit entrenchment (5) Wall entrenchment high (6) road condition Based of research result average by the side of limit entrenchment is 12,8 meter at research location. Deep of limits entrenchment average is 0,89 meter had include in maximum limit for entrenchment is 0,5-1 meter in higher groundwater surface. A wall high entrenchment is 9,57 meter average in location research which over than tolerantion environment safety limits is 3 meter high. Road condition are 35% from impact of pumice stone minning activity. Impact of pumice breccias minning activity in research location at Sambirejo Village,Prambanan Sub District had been land ravage experienced in category standard, Good, Medium and Damaged. Key word: Brecclas pumice stone, minning, and land ravage minning activity impact.
