Abstract
This study analysis the influence of the labor’s variable to foreign direct investment in Indonesia. The labor’s variables include the provincial minimum wage, the amount of labor strikes and Labor Union Act of Indonesia (Act No. 21 of 2000). This study uses data from the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board and the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration. The dynamic regression model is used in this research. The results show that the number of labor strikes and the provincial minimum wage have a negative influence to foreign direct investment. Meanwhile, Labor Union Act of Indonesia (Act No. 21 of 2000) has no influence to foreign direct investment.
