Abstract
ABSTRACT Water is one of the vital necessity for the survival of every living thing. Springs have an important role as a water supplier of water needs in various places. At the study site are Sumitro cave springs that have perennial flow type. But, evidence suggest there are still many people in the study site is having trouble clean water during the dry season arrives, this led to competition between hamlets in the clean water supply. Purpose of this study is to know the value of water balance in each hamlet in the study site, management directives that can be known Sumitro cave springs appropriately to address critical clean water at the study site. The methods used in this research were survey, interview, mathematical methods for water balance parameters, scoring method for building a water reservoir and maps overlay. Sampling method used in this research was purposive sampling. For the parameters of water balance is calculated discharge springs, rainfall, evapotranspiration, and water needs of the data population both domestic and nondomestic. And the suitability of the location parameter for building a water reservoir is slope, rock units, the distance to the border location of water sources and soil texture. From the research, the value of the water balance in most of the hamlets in the study area, there are two hamlets that have a value of water balance classified as critical approach, with details of the value of water balance Sokomoyo 60.61%, Sibolong 49.14%, Gendu 22.43%, Beteng 37.60% and Karanggede 54.17%. It shows that springs of Sumitro cave still able to meet the need of clean water at the study site. So that appropriate management direction springs are making buildings such as water reservoir dam, with a total volume needed 75428.375 m 3 , which is then distributed to the respective hamlets using a pipe with a combined distribution system (combination). Keywords : Springs, Water Balance, Water Reservoir Building, Suitability of The Location of The Building Water, Distribution System INTISARI Air merupakan salah satu kebutuhan vital untuk kelangsungan hidup setiap mahluk hidup. Mataair mempunyai peran penting sebagai pemasok kebutuhan air di berbagai tempat. Pada lokasi penelitian terdapat mataair Goa Sumitro yang mempunyai tipe aliran perenial. Namun, temuan di lapangan menunjukkan masih banyak warga di lokasi penelitian yang mengalami kesulitan air bersih saat musim kemarau tiba, hal tersebut menimbulkan persaingan antar padukuhan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan air bersih. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui nilai imbangan air pada masing-masing padukuhan di lokasi penelitian sehingga dapat diketahui arahan manajemen mataair Goa Sumitro secara tepat guna mengatasi kekritisan air bersih di lokasi penelitian. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey lapangan, wawancara, metode matematis pada parameter imbangan air, pengharkatan dan tumpangsusun pada parameter kesesuaian lokasi untuk bangunan penampung air, dan peta. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling. Untuk parameter imbangan air yang dihitung adalah debit mataair, curah hujan, evapotranspirasi dan data kebutuhan air bersih penduduk, baik domestik maupun non-domestik . Dan parameter kesesuaian lokasi untuk bangunan penampung air adalah kemiringan lereng, satuan batuan, jarak sempadan lokasi terhadap sumber air dan tekstur tanah. Dari hasil penelitian, nilai imbangan air pada sebagian besar padukuhan di lokasi penelitian terdapat dua padukuhan yang memiliki nilai imbangan air tergolong mendekati kritis, dengan perincian nilai imbangan air padukuhan Sokomoyo 60,61%, padukuhan Sibolong 49,14% ,padukuhan Gendu 22,43%, padukuhan Beteng 37,60% dan padukuhan Karanggede 54,17%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mataair Goa Sumitro masih mampu dalam mencukupi kebutuhan air bersih pada lokasi penelitian. Sehingga arahan manajemen mataair yang tepat adalah pembuatan bangunan penampung air berupa embung, dengan volume total yang dibutuhkan 75428,375 m 3 , yang kemudian disalurkan menuju masing-masing padukuhan dengan menggunakan pipa dengan sistem pendistribusian gabungan (kombinasi).
