Abstract

Kondisi lingkungan fisik kerja khususnya kebisingan, suhu, dan cahaya
yang tidak memenuhi syarat akan berpengaruh terhadap fisik maupun mental
pekerja. Pekerja akan mampu melaksanakan pekerjaan dengan baik dan
mencapai hasil (produktivitas) yang optimal apabila kondisi lingkungan fisik
kerja perusahaan mendukung dan tidak mengalami kelelahan. Dengan demikian
perusahaan harus berusaha menangani dan atau mendesain lingkungan kerja
yang ergonomis. PT. Lajuperdana Indah PG. Pakis Baru merupakan perusahaan
yang memproduksi gula SHS (Sugar High Sucrose). Perusahaan ini berusaha
menghasilkan produk yang banyak agar kebutuhan masyarakat Indonesia
terpenuhi. Namun selama kegiatan proses produksi berlangsung, peningkatan
produktivitas tidak bersamaan dengan peningkatan sistem kerja yang ada di
tempat produksi khususnya di ruang finishing and packing station.
Untuk mengkaji permasalahan diatas, maka dilakukan analisis sistem
menggunakan pendekatan studi cross sectional dengan pendekatan sistem
dinamis Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan kuisioner diketahui bahwa variabel
berpengaruh terhadap kelelahan dan jumlah produk yang dihasilkan. Dapat
diketahui bahwa jumlah produk yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan kondisi nyata
setelah melakukan simulasi dan validasi. Selain itu, dirancang dua skenario yaitu
skenario sebelum perbaikan kondisi lingkungan fisik dan setelah perbaikan
kondisi lingkungan fisik. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi skenario 1 didapatkan
bahwa jumlah produk yang dihasilkan dapat mengalami kenaikan dari tahun ke
tahun tanpa adanya penurunan, dan pada skenario 2 didapat jumlah produksi
lebih meningkat dibandingkan dengan skenario 1. Sehingga skenario terbaik yang
dipilih adalah skenario 2 yaitu dengan melakukan perbaikan kondisi lingkungan
fisik dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan pekerja dan produktivitas perusahaan.

ABSTRACT

A physical environment safety especially the noise levels, the temperature,
and light that does not meet the requirements will have an effect on physical and
mental health workers. Workers will be able work well and gain optimal
productivity when the physical environment of a company's work supports and
does not suffer exhaustion. Thus company must try to deal with and/or design
working environment that promotes ergonomic comfort. PT. Lajuperdana Indah
PG. Pakis Baru is a company that produces sugar SHS (Sugar High Sucrose).
This company tries to produce more products to provide Indonesians' needs. But
when the process of production activities takes place, the increase of productivity
can't work at the same time as equally as the increase of working system. It occurs
in the production especially in the finishing and packing station.
To analyze the problems above, the analysis system using sectional cross
study approach is done with dynamic system approach. Based on the result of a
questioner processing, it is known that the variables affect fatigue and the number
of products that are produced. It is known that the number of products that are
produced equals to the real condition after simulation and validation. In addition,
two scenarios are designed; the designed scenario before and after improving the
environmental and physical condition. Based on the simulation results, the
scenario 1 shows that the number of products are able to increase through the
years without decline, and scenario 2 shows that the number of production
increased compared with scenario 1. So the best screenplay that is chosen is
scenario 2; Improving physical environment can improve workers' prosperity and
company's productivity.
