Abstract

ABSTRAK Setiap perusahaan memiliki sistem proses produksi yang merupakan kegiatan dalam keberlangsungan hidup perusahaan. Persediaan harus diperhatikan dalam suatu proses produksi karena berpengaruh langsung terhadap kelancaran proses produksi. Penentuan besarnya persediaan sangat penting bagi perusahaan, karena persediaan merupakan faktor yang memicu peningkatan biaya. Persediaan bahan baku yang berlebihan akan menambah biaya penyimpanan. Demikian pula sebaliknya, persediaan yang terlalu kecil akan mengakibatkan kemacetan dalam proses produksi. Perusahaan “Vistrand Shoes” UD Vijaya adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang sepatu kulit. Bahan baku utama yang dibutuhkan berupa kulit. Kulit yang digunakan pun terdiri dari beberapa macam jenis kulit. Hal menyebabkan kesulitan dalam menentukan pemesanan. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan harus teliti dalam merencanakan pembelian bahan baku guna menentukan jumlah pemesanan bahan baku yang akan dibeli sesuai dengan jadwal produksi yang ada sehingga tidak terjadi banyak penumpukan persediaan di gudang. Perencanaan ini diharapkan akan dapat meminimasi total biaya persediaan. Perencanaan ini dapat dibuat dengan menggunakan model persediaan EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) Multi-item dengan mempertimbangkan faktor incremental discount yang diberikan oleh supplier dari perusahaan ini. Pada penerapan model di Perusahaan Vistrand Shoes, diperoleh hasil bahwa biaya persediaan minimal dihitung berdasarkan metode EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) Multi-item dengan adanya faktor potongan harga. Total biaya persediaan adalah Rp 709.162.662,00, pemesanan optimal kulit polos hitam=305 lembar/pesan ; kulit warna maroon=100 lembar/pesan ; kulit warna coklat=89 lembar/pesan ; kulit warna coklat muda : 36 lembar/pesan ; kulit serat kayu=45 lembar/pesan. Kata kunci: Total Biaya Persediaan, EOQ, Multi-item, Incremental Discount. ABTRACT Every company has a system of production processes is activity in the survival of the company. Inventories must be considered in the process of production as a direct effect on the smooth production process. Determination of the amount of inventory is very important for the company, because supplies are the factors that lead to increased costs. Excess inventory of raw materials will increase the cost of storage. Likewise, the supply is too small will lead to bottlenecks in the production process. Vistrand Shoes UD Vijaya is a company engaged in the field of leather shoes. The main raw material required in the form of leather. The leather used was composed of several different types of skin. It causes difficulty in determining the reservation. Therefore, the company should be careful in planning for the purchase of raw materials in order to determine the amount of ordering raw materials to be purchased in accordance with the existing production schedule so it does not happen much buildup of inventory in the warehouse. Planning is expected to minimize the total cost of inventory. This plan can be created using inventory models EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) Multi-item factor considering the incremental discount given by suppliers of this company. In the implementation of the model in the company Vistrand Shoes, obtained results that the minimum inventory cost is calculated based on the method of EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) with the Multi-item factor rebate. The total cost of inventory is $ 709,162,662.00, the optimal ordering plain black leather = 305 pieces/order; maroon leather = 100 pieces/order; brown leather = 89 pieces/order; russet skin: 36 pieces/order; leather wood fiber = 45 pieces/order.
