Abstract
This resarch aims for industrial sector mapping, bevause of each industrial sector have
different and unique characteristic. In the industrial sector mapping, it conducted with classifying
nine groups based on Industry Classification Benchmark, Osiris (2003) which are: oil and gas
industrials sector, basic materials, industrials, consumer’s goods, health care, consumer services,
telecommunications, utilities, and technology. This classification had chosen, because of industry
classification benchmark is a classification which used widely in many countries and classification
which conducted internationally, that easily to comparison with other countries. This research’s
result could mapping the industrial sector on each country in Asean and useful for the policy maker
in establishing nation’s economy.
