Abstract
ABSTRAK Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogjakarta mengoperasikan bus Trans Jogja sebagai salah satu usaha untuk perbaikan sistem transportasi perkotaan. Antusiasme masyarakat yang tinggi terhadap Trans Jogja tidak diimbangi dengan ketersediaan informasi instan, sehingga banyak masyarakat DIY terutama turis yang masih bingung mengenai rute – rute TransJogja tersebut. Mobilitas masyarakat dan tingginya informasi berupa peta, GIS (Geographic Information System) bukan sekadar sebuah trend teknologi tetapi telah menjadi sebuah kebutuhan. Pemanfaatan peta online yang disediakan oleh Google menjadi dasar dikembangankannya aplikasi ini. Apalagi didukung dengan terintegrasinya google maps dengan Android, Selain dapat menggunakan peta secara gratis, juga tidak perlu membuat server khusus untuk mengelola data sebuah peta. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah Guidelines for Rapid APPlication Engineering (GRAPPLE). Produk dari pengembangan tersebut adalah sebuah aplikasi GIS (Geographic Information System) sebagai navigasi khususnya untuk rute Transjogja yang berbasis mobile yang memiliki platform atau sistem operasi Android. Sehingga dengan aplikasi ini user dapat mengetahui rute serta jarak tiap shelter transjogja yang akan dilewatinya sampai dengan tempat yang akan dituju. ABSTRACT Yogyakarta has been operates TransJogja bus operates as one effort to improve urban transportation systems. The society enthusiasm against Trans Jogja is not matched by availability of instant information, so many Yogyakarta’s people, tourists especially who are still confused about the route of TransJogja. Moreover, supported by google maps integration with Android, in addition to using the maps for free, also do not need to make a dedicated server to manage the data of a map. The method used in the making of this application is the Application Guidelines for Rapid Engineering (Grapple). The product of such development is an application of GIS (Geographic Information System) for navigation especially for mobile-based Transjogja route that has a platform or Android operating system. So with this application user can know the route and distance of each shelter Transjogja to be passed up to the place of destination.
